# Payout wallets

> Register the addresses yield.xyz pays your fees to, per network and per Trade provider.

A payout wallet tells yield.xyz where to send the fees you collect. Each wallet has a network, an address, and a scope: **Yield / Earn** (tied to a network) or **Trade** (tied to a Trade provider). Payout wallets are configured per project.

  Managing payout wallets requires the **owner** or **admin** role on the project's team.

## Where to configure it

Payout wallets are managed per project, in the **Payout wallets** section of the project page in the [dashboard](https://dashboard.yield.xyz). Each wallet has:

| Field | Description |
| - | - |
| **Feature** | The scope: **Yield / Earn** or **Trade** |
| **Network** | Required for the Yield / Earn scope; the chain the address receives fees on |
| **Provider** | Required for the Trade scope; the Trade provider the address is registered for |
| **Address** | Your wallet address; validated against the selected network's format |
| **Note** | Optional label, up to 50 characters |

  Register only addresses you control. yield.xyz cannot recover fees sent to an address you don't control.

## What a payout wallet controls

Registering a payout wallet tells yield.xyz where your revenue for that network, or that Trade provider, should be paid. It doesn't move funds by itself: the address that actually receives a live Earn fee configuration's fees (`feeRecipientAddress`) is set by yield.xyz when it activates that configuration, not read automatically from your payout wallets. Register a payout wallet for each network where you plan to charge fees before requesting a [fee configuration](/documentation/advanced-setup/dashboard/discretionary-fees), and confirm the recipient with yield.xyz whenever you add or change a wallet.

## How fees reach the recipient

Payout wallets don't change how a fee is collected: each fee is sent on-chain to the fee recipient at the moment its mechanism collects it, and nothing accrues with yield.xyz for later withdrawal.   Trade builder fees work differently: Hyperliquid pays the configured builder fee directly to the builder address set on the Trade [fee configuration](/documentation/advanced-setup/dashboard/discretionary-fees), not through a payout wallet.
