# AgentKit for Claude Code

> Discover yields and build transactions inside Claude Code with the AgentKit base plugin and connectors.

The AgentKit plugins bring yield discovery and transaction building into Claude Code. You describe what you want in natural language, and Claude calls the [MCP server](/documentation/ai-agents/mcp-server) tools for you. See [AgentKit](/documentation/ai-agents/agentkit/index) for how the plugins fit together.

This page covers the base plugin and its connectors. To generate integration code instead of running yields conversationally, see [AgentKit for builders](/documentation/ai-agents/integrate/agentkit-for-builders).

## Add the marketplace

Every AgentKit plugin installs from the same marketplace, added once:

```bash theme={null}
/plugin marketplace add stakekit/agentkit
```

## Install a plugin

| Plugin | Install | What it adds |
| - | - | - |
| `yield-xyz-agentkit` (base) | `/plugin install yield-xyz-agentkit@agentkit` | Discover yields and build transactions. Bring your own signer. |
| `yield-xyz-agentkit-privy` | `/plugin install yield-xyz-agentkit-privy@agentkit` | Sign and broadcast via Privy agentic wallets, autonomously or with enterprise approval. |
| `yield-xyz-agentkit-moonpay` | `/plugin install yield-xyz-agentkit-moonpay@agentkit` | Sign and broadcast via MoonPay. |
| `yield-xyz-agentkit-robinhood` | `/plugin install yield-xyz-agentkit-robinhood@agentkit` | Configure Robinhood Chain (mainnet, chain ID 4663) and act on yields there with your own EVM signer. |

Start with the base plugin. Each connector depends on it and installs it automatically if it isn't already present:

```bash theme={null}
/plugin install yield-xyz-agentkit-privy@agentkit   # also installs yield-xyz-agentkit
```

<Note>
  The MoonPay connector additionally needs the MoonPay MCP, set up through a guided CLI flow. The Robinhood Chain connector needs your own EVM signer for Robinhood Chain mainnet: it does not hold keys or sign transactions itself.
</Note>

## Try it

Once the base plugin (or a connector) is installed, talk to Claude directly:

* "Show me top USDC yields on Base."
* "What's the best ETH staking APY on Ethereum?"
* "Compare top validators for ATOM staking on Cosmos."
* "Check my yield balances for this wallet."

## What each install adds

Every plugin bundles two pieces and wires them together in one step:

* **A skill**: instructs Claude on schema-first discovery, transaction ordering, and output formatting for that plugin's job.
* **An MCP connection**: the base and builder plugins each ship a `.mcp.json` that registers `https://mcp.yield.xyz/mcp` so Claude calls yield tools directly. A connector plugin depends on the base and inherits its MCP registration rather than registering its own.

Across the base plugin and every connector, transaction building always happens through the `yield-xyz-agentkit` skill; a connector only changes who signs and broadcasts the result (Privy, MoonPay) or which chain you act on (Robinhood Chain).

## Non-custodial by design

yield.xyz is SOC 2 compliant ([trust.yield.xyz](https://trust.yield.xyz)). No plugin in this family ever takes custody of funds. The base plugin constructs unsigned transactions only, and a connector's wallet provider (Privy, MoonPay, or your own EVM signer for Robinhood Chain) signs and broadcasts them.
