# Copilot

Copilot is an AI agent built into the [yield.xyz dashboard](/documentation/advanced-setup/dashboard/index). It answers questions about your project and the product, and carries out dashboard tasks you ask for in plain language.

## What Copilot is planned to do

| Task | Example |
| - | - |
| Guide onboarding | Walk a new team through creating a project, an API key, enabling yields, and setting fees |
| Configure yields | Find and enable yields from a request such as "top 10 yields over 50M USD TVL on EVM" |
| Answer product questions | Check whether a yield or network is supported, with links to the docs |
| Explain monetization | Estimate fee revenue for the yields you enable |
| Surface reporting | Answer questions about your project's activity |

## Confirm before every change

Copilot reads freely but never writes without you. Every change, such as enabling a yield or updating fees, shows a confirmation that restates exactly what will happen. Copilot's permissions match your [dashboard role](/documentation/advanced-setup/roles-permissions), and its actions are logged.
