# Morpho Aave

> Supply DAI, USDC, and five other Ethereum assets through Morpho's Aave Optimizer and hold an aToken-denominated position.

Morpho Aave is Morpho's legacy Optimizer, which peer-to-peer matches lenders and borrowers on top of Aave's Ethereum pool. You supply an asset and Morpho's contract holds the resulting Aave `a`-token on your behalf.

Query [`GET /v1/yields?providers=morpho-aave`](/api-reference/YieldsController_getYields) for the live list. Yield IDs follow `ethereum-{token}-morpho-aave-lending`.

## Entering

Enter with `amount`. yield.xyz issues an approval transaction for the input token, skipped automatically when your existing allowance already covers the amount, followed by the supply transaction that routes the deposit through Morpho into Aave.

## Exiting

Exit with `amount` to redeem your position for the underlying asset. yield.xyz blocks new deposits (`enter` fails) whenever the pool's APY reads as 0, or when Morpho's on-chain market status marks that market's supply as paused. Exits remain open whenever APY is 0, and only fail when the market's on-chain withdrawal is paused.

## Rewards and position

yield.xyz reports your balance denominated in the market's aToken. Interest accrues automatically to that balance; there is no manual claim action for these pools.

## List the live yields

Copy this request to list the Morpho Aave yields enabled for your project. Yield IDs change as markets and networks are added, so query the API rather than hardcoding them.
