# Sommelier

> Deposit into Sommelier curated vaults on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Optimism and redeem shares instantly.

The Sommelier integration deposits into Sommelier's curated cellars, each run by a strategy provider. You receive a cellar share token, and its redemption value in the deposit asset rises as the strategy performs.

<Note>
  This page covers Sommelier vaults. SOMM native staking on the Sommelier chain is a separate integration; see [Staking types](/documentation/earn/staking/types).
</Note>

## Availability

| Network | Input token | Position token |
| - | - | - |
| Ethereum | Set per cellar, for example WETH, USDC, or WBTC | Cellar share token |
| Arbitrum | Varies per cellar | Cellar share token |
| Optimism | WETH | Cellar share token |

List the cellars enabled for your project with [`GET /v1/yields`](/api-reference/YieldsController_getYields) filtered by `providers=sommelier`.

## Entering

An enter action approves the deposit asset and deposits it into the cellar. A cellar built on WETH also accepts native ETH: it wraps the ETH into WETH as an extra step ahead of the deposit.

## Exiting

Exits redeem shares for the underlying asset in the same transaction: there is no cooldown or withdrawal queue. A WETH-denominated cellar unwraps the redeemed WETH back to native ETH as a final step. Some cellars are liquidity-constrained on-chain (Sommelier's cellars can revert on the standard ERC-4626 `totalAssets` read), so yield.xyz caps a redeem to what the cellar reports as currently withdrawable for your address.

## Rewards and position

Yield compounds automatically into the cellar's share price; there is no separate reward token or claim action in this integration today.

## List the live yields

Copy this request to list the Sommelier yields enabled for your project. Yield IDs change as markets and networks are added, so query the API rather than hardcoding them.

```bash theme={null}
curl "https://api.yield.xyz/v1/yields?providers=sommelier&limit=100" \
  -H "x-api-key: $YIELD_API_KEY"
```
