# POL (MATIC) staking

> Delegate POL to a Polygon validator from Ethereum, with a required validator address on enter and exit.

POL (MATIC) native staking delegates POL held on Ethereum to a Polygon validator. This is native, delegated staking: you choose the validator.

## Enter and exit

Enter takes `amount` (required, minimum 1) and `validatorAddress` (required), plus an optional `inputToken`. Exit takes `amount` and `validatorAddress`, both required, for the validator being undelegated from.

## Managing the position

| `WITHDRAW` | Claims the unbonded balance once the 2-day cooldown has passed. |
| `CLAIM_REWARDS` | Claims accrued delegation rewards. |
