# Cardano staking

> Delegate ADA to a stake pool with no unbonding period and manually claimed epoch rewards.

Delegate ADA to a Cardano stake pool through the Yield API. Cardano staking has no unbonding period: undelegating is immediate at the protocol level.

## Enter and exit

Enter takes an optional `amount` (minimum 5 ADA when set) and a required `validatorAddress`, the stake pool ID. Exit takes an optional `amount` with no validator argument: it undelegates the account's whole stake in one action.

## Managing the position

| `CLAIM_REWARDS` | Claims accrued rewards once the claimable balance reaches 1 ADA |
| `STAKE` | Re-delegates rewards back into the position |
