# MANTRA staking

> Delegate MANTRA tokens to a validator on MANTRA, with a 8-day unbonding period and manually claimed rewards.

Delegate MANTRA tokens to a validator of your choice on MANTRA. The API returns the token symbol as `MANTRA`; the yield ID keeps the `om` segment. Rewards accrue every block and are claimed or restaked through pending actions; exits unbond for 8 days.

## Enter and exit

Enter and exit both take `amount` and `validatorAddress`, and both require `additionalAddresses.cosmosPubKey` alongside `address`. On exit, the undelegated amount unbonds for 8 days and then returns to the available balance on its own, with no separate withdraw step. Unbonding MANTRA earns no rewards.
