# NEAR staking

> Delegate NEAR to a validator with a 2-day unbonding period and rewards that auto-compound daily.

Delegate NEAR to a validator through the Yield API. Rewards compound automatically into the position; unstaking goes through a 2-day unbonding period before it can be withdrawn.

## Yields

| Yield ID | Staking type | Provider | Validator selection |
| - | - | - | - |
| `near-near-native-staking` | Native | yield.xyz | Required |

## Key facts

| | |
| - | - |
| Network ID | `near` |
| Staked token | NEAR |
| Unbonding | 2 days |
| Warmup | None |
| Minimum | None enforced by the module (minimum 0) |
| Rewards | Auto-compounded, updated daily |

## Enter and exit

Enter takes `amount` and a required `validatorAddress`. Exit takes the same arguments; it unstakes from that validator, and after the 2-day unbonding period the balance is claimed with a pending action.

<Warning>
  Exits are subject to a 2-day unbonding period before the `WITHDRAW` pending action becomes available.
</Warning>

## Managing the position

| Action | What it does |
| - | - |
| `WITHDRAW` | Withdraws the unstaked balance after the 2-day unbonding period |
