What Plutus does
- Reads the portfolio. Plutus builds a live view of balances, positions, rewards, and idle assets across the user’s connected wallets and networks.
- Compares opportunities. It evaluates staking, lending, vaults, DeFi, and tokenized real-world assets using yield.xyz data: APY, TVL, liquidity, historical performance, risk, reward mechanics, and exit conditions.
- Recommends an action. Each recommendation states its reasoning and trade-offs, including expected return, liquidity, risk, exit conditions, and alternatives.
- Prepares the transaction. Once the user approves, Plutus builds an unsigned transaction and routes it to the platform’s wallet for signing.
- Monitors the position. Plutus tracks the result, so the next conversation starts from current portfolio context.
Custody and control
Each deployment defines what Plutus can do: approved assets, networks, contracts, transaction limits, and approval requirements. Plutus applies those constraints when it compares opportunities and prepares an action. Transactions stay unsigned until they reach the platform’s wallet infrastructure, which validates, approves, and signs them. Plutus never needs private keys. A platform can require human approval for every action or allow execution when its predefined policies are met.Plutus or AgentKit
