Add the marketplace
Every AgentKit plugin installs from the same marketplace, added once:Install a plugin
Start with the base plugin. Each connector depends on it and installs it automatically if it isn’t already present:
The MoonPay connector additionally needs the MoonPay MCP, set up through a guided CLI flow. The Robinhood Chain connector needs your own EVM signer for Robinhood Chain mainnet: it does not hold keys or sign transactions itself.
Try it
Once the base plugin (or a connector) is installed, talk to Claude directly:- “Show me top USDC yields on Base.”
- “What’s the best ETH staking APY on Ethereum?”
- “Compare top validators for ATOM staking on Cosmos.”
- “Check my yield balances for this wallet.”
What each install adds
Every plugin bundles two pieces and wires them together in one step:- A skill: instructs Claude on schema-first discovery, transaction ordering, and output formatting for that plugin’s job.
- An MCP connection: the base and builder plugins each ship a
.mcp.jsonthat registershttps://mcp.yield.xyz/mcpso Claude calls yield tools directly. A connector plugin depends on the base and inherits its MCP registration rather than registering its own.
yield-xyz-agentkit skill; a connector only changes who signs and broadcasts the result (Privy, MoonPay) or which chain you act on (Robinhood Chain).
Non-custodial by design
yield.xyz is SOC 2 compliant (trust.yield.xyz). No plugin in this family ever takes custody of funds. The base plugin constructs unsigned transactions only, and a connector’s wallet provider (Privy, MoonPay, or your own EVM signer for Robinhood Chain) signs and broadcasts them.Next steps
AgentKit for builders
Generate integration code instead of running yields conversationally.
MCP tool reference
Every tool the plugin exposes and what it returns.
Agent skills
Install the same skills standalone, without the plugin.
Guardrails
Safety rules an agent follows before it signs or broadcasts anything.
