This section documents liquid staking protocol mechanics: what you deposit, what receipt token you hold, and how each protocol’s exit works. The liquid staking concept itself, rebasing versus exchange-rate tokens, and how it differs from native and pooled staking, is covered in Staking types.

Integrations

Query GET /v1/yields?types=liquid_staking for the liquid staking yields enabled for your project. See Discover yields for filtering and pagination.

Integration-level differences

  • Exit only. Lido’s stMATIC and stSOL positions can only be unstaked and withdrawn through yield.xyz; entering is disabled at the protocol integration level regardless of the underlying contract’s pause state. See Lido.
  • Enter only. Mantle’s mETH has no exit path through yield.xyz: there is no unstake transaction and the integration’s status check always reports exit as unavailable. See Mantle.
  • Instant exits. Rocket Pool, xSUSHI, and Tonstakers settle the exit in the same transaction flow as the request, with no unbonding period.
  • Queued exits. Lido (all three assets), Marinade, Benqi, slisBNB, and sTRX move the position into a cooldown after the exit request. Once the cooldown elapses, the funds appear on the withdrawable public balance type and expose a pending action (CLAIM_UNSTAKED or WITHDRAW, depending on the integration) to move them to the wallet.
  • TON’s native token. TON’s yields report the native asset as GRAM in yield.xyz’s token metadata, not TON. The Tonstakers yield ID keeps the ton- prefix regardless.

Marinade Native (Max Yield)

solana-sol-marinade-native-max-yield-staking is a pooled staking product (public type staking, not liquid_staking): it does not mint a receipt token. It’s documented on Solana staking alongside SOL’s other staking yields.
