Marinade issues mSOL, an exchange-rate liquid staking token on Solana. Entering and exiting are both available, and exiting offers a delayed path or an instant path through Marinade’s own liquidity pool.

Availability

Yield ID: solana-sol-marinade-staking. Query GET /v1/yields?providers=marinade for the Marinade yield enabled for your project. status.enter and status.exit are always true.
solana-sol-marinade-native-max-yield-staking is a separate pooled staking yield from the same provider (public type staking, no receipt token), documented on Solana staking.

Entering

Entering takes amount. yield.xyz creates the wallet’s mSOL token account if it does not exist, then stakes SOL and mints mSOL at the current exchange rate.

Exiting

By default, exiting takes amount and creates an unstake ticket. The position runs the yield’s cooldownPeriod of 3 days (with a matching 3-day withdrawPeriod), then exposes a WITHDRAW pending action that closes the ticket and returns SOL. Passing useInstantExecution: true skips the ticket: SOL returns in the same transaction through Marinade’s SOL/mSOL liquidity pool. Availability and price depend on that pool’s liquidity at request time.

Rewards and position

mSOL is an exchange-rate token: the balance stays constant while its SOL value rises. Reward claiming is automatic. Which fee types you can configure on this yield is listed in mechanics.possibleFeeTakingMechanisms; see Monetization.

List the live yields

Copy this request to list the Marinade yields enabled for your project. Yield IDs change as markets and networks are added, so query the API rather than hardcoding them.
