Drift runs spot lending markets on Solana. You deposit an asset into a market and earn interest paid by borrowers; yield.xyz integrates Drift’s Main market plus its JLP, LST, and Exponent markets. Drift’s perpetuals trading is a separate product and is not part of this integration.

Availability

Query GET /v1/yields?providers=drift for the live list per market. Yield IDs follow solana-drift-{token}-lending for the Main market, and solana-drift-{token}-{market}-lending for JLP, LST, and Exponent (for example solana-drift-usdc-jlp-lending).

Entering

Each market is its own Drift sub-account. On your first deposit into a market, yield.xyz creates that sub-account as part of the enter transaction, which requires roughly 0.035 SOL in the wallet to cover account rent and fees; you can skip this check with skipPrechecks. The SOL market wraps native SOL automatically before depositing.

Exiting

Exit with amount or useMaxAmount. Drift enforces a live withdrawal limit per market in addition to your deposited balance; a request above either limit fails rather than partially filling, and a max exit is capped to whichever is lower at request time. Optionally pass receiverAddress to chain a swap that sends the withdrawn asset to a different address in the same request.

Rewards and position

Interest accrues directly into your deposited balance; there is no separate reward token to claim for ordinary interest. Balances are tracked per sub-account (per market). If you pass your action history and an auto-sweep schedule (autoSweepDayOfMonth, autoSweepTimezone) to the balances request, yield.xyz compares your current balance against your net deposits and surfaces the difference as an AUTO_SWEEP_WITHDRAW_REWARDS pending action, letting you withdraw the accrued amount to a separate address without exiting the full position.
