Ether.fi Liquid runs on the same Veda BoringVault infrastructure as the Veda and Kinetiq integrations: you deposit an asset through a Teller contract and receive a liquidETH vault share, whose redemption value tracks an on-chain Accountant exchange rate.
This page covers the Liquid ETH vault only. Ether.fi’s restaking product (eETH) is a separate yield.xyz integration, documented at Restaking › Ether.fi.

Availability

Query GET /v1/yields?providers=etherfi for the vaults enabled for your project.

Entering

Entering wraps native ETH first if you select it as the input token, approves the deposit asset to the BoringVault if needed, then calls the Teller’s deposit, which mints liquidETH shares immediately. The transaction includes a minimum-mint check derived from the vault’s exchange rate with a 0.5% slippage tolerance.

Exiting

Exiting is a two-step request, not an instant redemption. It approves your liquidETH shares to the vault’s withdrawal Queue, then submits requestOnChainWithdraw. The yield’s cooldownPeriod is 3 days, actual maturity is set by the vault’s on-chain withdrawal queue, and the request carries a 10-day deadline; it settles into weETH, not eETH, on both networks. While pending, the request is tracked as an exiting balance.
A withdrawal request that reaches its 10-day deadline without being claimed has no cancellation path through the API today. Size withdrawal requests so they clear well inside the deadline.

Rewards and position

The liquidETH share’s value rises automatically as the Accountant’s exchange rate grows; no claim step is needed. This vault has no separate reward token or CLAIM_REWARDS pending action.
