The Veda integration deposits assets into a Veda BoringVault: you deposit an asset through a Teller contract and receive a vault share, whose redemption value tracks an on-chain Accountant exchange rate rather than a rebasing balance.
The Veda BoringVault stack also backs two other yield.xyz integrations: Ether.fi Liquid on Ethereum and Optimism, and Kinetiq on HyperEVM. Each has its own page; this page covers only the Veda-branded vault on Plasma.

Entering

Entering approves USDT0 to the BoringVault (not the Teller) if needed, then calls the Teller’s deposit, which mints shares immediately. The transaction includes a minimum-mint check derived from the vault’s exchange rate with a 0.5% slippage tolerance, so a deposit reverts rather than minting at a worse rate.

Exiting

Exiting is a two-step request, not an instant redemption. It approves your shares to the vault’s withdrawal Queue, then submits requestOnChainWithdraw specifying the asset to receive, the queue’s minimum discount, and a deadline (10 days by default). Maturity is set by the vault’s on-chain withdrawal queue (the yield’s cooldownPeriod is 1 day); the request is tracked off-chain by Veda’s withdrawal infrastructure and surfaced as an exiting balance until it settles.
A withdrawal request that reaches its deadline without being claimed has no cancellation path through the API today. Size withdrawal requests so they clear well inside the 10-day deadline.

Rewards and position

The vault share’s value rises automatically as the Accountant’s exchange rate grows; no claim step is needed for this base yield. The Plasma vault also distributes a separate reward token through Merkl, a third-party distribution protocol, which requires an explicit claim: submit the CLAIM_REWARDS pending action to claim your proof-based allocation from Merkl’s distributor contract. Track both the base position and any claimable Merkl rewards via balances.
