This section covers third-party DeFi vault yields exposed through Earn. For yield.xyz’s own vault infrastructure (OAVs, Sentinel Vaults, Meta Vaults), see Platform › Vaults & OAVs. A DeFi vault yield follows one model: you deposit an asset, the vault issues a share (or, for a few integrations, tracks your position without a token), and a strategy run by the protocol or by a named curator (curator on the yield object) allocates the deposit. You enter and exit through the same action lifecycle as every other yield. Your position is your share balance, valued either by a rising share price with reward claiming set to auto by default, or by a share price plus a separate claimable rewards balance where a module adds one.

ERC-4626 vaults

Angle, Euler, Idle Finance, and Yearn (V3 and the Yearn Strategies vaults) run on the same generic ERC-4626 integration path. Every other vault provider in the table below has its own implementation: Morpho, Ethena, Upshift, the Veda-based vaults (Veda, Ether.fi Liquid, Kinetiq), the Lagoon-based vaults (RockSolid, Gami Labs), Concrete, Maple, InfiniFi, YO Protocol, Sky, Summer.fi, Lista, and Sommelier. Don’t assume every vault yield is ERC-4626, and don’t assume every vault redeems instantly: check the protocol’s own page. Four vault-type integrations are documented on their provider’s lending page, because the provider also runs lending markets: Spark Savings vaults on Spark, Venus Flux on Venus, Curve Savings (scrvUSD) on Curve, and Kamino vaults (Solana) on Kamino. Their yields still carry type vault.

Exit models

Most vaults redeem instantly: you request an exit and the underlying asset settles in the same transaction, subject to the vault’s on-chain liquidity. A smaller set requests an exit first and settles it later, on a queue, epoch, or fixed cooldown:
  • Ethena: a cooldown after unstaking sUSDe (currently 7 days), then a CLAIM_UNSTAKED pending action.
  • Concrete: an epoch-based withdrawal queue; a processed epoch is claimed with a CLAIM_UNSTAKED pending action.
  • Maple: queued redemption through the pool’s withdrawal manager.
  • Upshift: a redemption request that Upshift settles to your address after a per-vault period.
  • Veda-based vaults (Veda, Ether.fi Liquid, Kinetiq): a withdrawal queue with a per-vault cooldown.
  • Lagoon-based vaults (RockSolid, Gami Labs): a redemption request settled by the curator, then a CLAIM_UNSTAKED pending action.
  • InfiniFi: siUSD redeems instantly only while the protocol’s redemption queue is empty; locked liUSD positions cannot be exited through the Yield API.
Every other provider in the table redeems in the same transaction unless its row says otherwise.

Discover vault yields

Query GET /v1/yields?types=vault for the vault yields enabled for your project. See Discover yields for filtering and pagination; the response is project-scoped, not a global catalog.
